What kind of contact methods are available?
There are three kinds of contact methods:
Contact me by phone You can leave your phone number in the Website. Our i.Assistant will contact you.
Talk with i.Assistant online You can talk with our i.Assistant through your speakers and microphone.
Keyboard chat with i.Assistant You can chat with i.Assistant through your keyboard, just like ICQ.

 
What equipment do I need?
The equipment for Contact me by phone
No additional equipment is needed. You just leave your telephone number.
The equipment for Talk with i.Assistant online
You should have a sound card and speakers and microphone (or headset) and you should have Microsoft NetMeeting 2.1 or later installed on your PC.
The equipment for Keyboard chat with i.Assistant
No additional equipment is needed.

 
What browser version do I need?
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 or Netscape navigator 4.0X or later.

 
If I do not have a sound card, speakers, microphone and Microsoft NetMeeting, how can I contact i.Assistant?
If you have installed sound card, speakers and microphone appropriately, you can download Microsoft NetMeeting for free from our Website. If you do not have a sound card, speakers and microphone, you can choose Keyboard chat with i.Assistant OR Contact me by phone.

 
What are the bandwidth requirements for contacting i.Assistant?
For Keyboard chat and browser collaboration, the basic requirements are about 5 Kbps. For Internet talk, we are using 56 Kbps each direction.Thus, you can contact us through either dial-up connection or broadband.

 
What are i.Assistant service hours?
From 10am to 7pm (including public holidays).

 
How do I contact i.Assistant out of service hours?
You can leave your phone number or email address in the Website, we will contact you as soon as possible.

 
After I select a contact mode in the Website, how long will it be before I can reach i.Assistant ?
Depending on the number of calls waiting, you should reach our i.Assistant within a few seconds. If there are many waiting calls, it will take longer time to reach an operator. You can select EXIT/LEAVE CONTACTS if you are not willing to wait and our i.Assistant will contact you once he/she becomes available.

 
Can I chat in Chinese?
Unfortunately, our chat room currently supports English chat only. We may provide Chinese chat room later.

 
How can I check the version of my browsers?
You can click the Help Button at the top tool bar and select About and it will show the version. You can also download an appropriate broswer from our Website.
